Every screening of Finding Happy helps us spread the message of hope, kindness, and HAPPyness around the world. Licensing fees are an important part of how we make that possible — they directly support outreach initiatives, educational programs, and community events that bring people together through compassion and connection.

By hosting a screening, you’re not only sharing an inspiring story — you’re helping sustain a global movement that reminds us all that even the smallest acts of care can create ripples of change. Thank you for being part of our flock and helping us keep kindness in motion.

  • Hosting a screening during RAKW in February is a special event and some of our FAQ’s will not apply. Please reach out to our team for more information.

  • A screening license gives you legal permission to publicly show Finding Happy outside of a private home — whether it’s at a school, workplace, theatre, or community event. Licensing ensures filmmakers and partners are supported while allowing us to continue spreading Happy’s message of kindness and hope.

  • Your licensing fee directly fuels our mission. These funds help us share Finding Happy with more audiences, create educational kindness toolkits, and fund outreach programs that inspire compassion around the world. Every dollar helps us keep the message — and the movement — flying.

  • The typical license fee is based on the size of your event:

    • Up to 50 attendees — $500 USD

    • Up to 100 attendees — $1000 USD

    • Up to 200 attendees — $1,750 USD

    • Up to 300 attendees — $2,500 USD

      **If you are a school or nonprofit please inquire about special pricing.

  • Your screening license includes:

    • Digital access to the film

    • A Finding Happy discussion guide and kindness toolkit *Coming soon.

    • Official artwork and promotional materials

    • Access to our team for support leading up to your event

  • Each license is valid for one screening event unless otherwise noted. If you’d like to host multiple screenings or use the film for an extended period (such as a classroom curriculum or multi-day event), please reach out and we’ll create a custom package for you.

  • Yes! Many hosts use Finding Happy screenings to raise funds or awareness for their school, community initiative, or favorite cause. We only ask that you purchase the appropriate license type and let us know if proceeds will go toward charitable efforts — we love celebrating kindness in action!

  • We’d love to! Depending on availability, Maria or a member of the Finding Happy team can join your event virtually or in person for a Q&A or keynote talk. Please include this request in your screening inquiry form so we can coordinate the details.

  • Unfortunately he cannot. Happy is much happier staying home in the comfort of his pineapple bed.

    He can however provide a personalized video for a fee for your event.

    • For an added fee: Optional pre-recorded intro from filmmaker Maria Bertrand & Happy
